| Market Closes with One Gainer and Two Losers |
Friday: 27-Jan-12 >> The stock market closed today with a total volume traded of 555,459 shares valued at GHS557,032.38. In all thirteen equities traded with three price changes. One appreciated whilst two lost value. TOTAL was the only gainer and rose by a pesewa to close at GHS19.84. On the other hand, EBG and GCB lost one pesewa and two pesewas to close at GHS3.20 and GHS 1.88 respectively. These price changes pushed down the SAS Index by 3.07 points to close at 1,778.19 representing a year-to-date gain of 0.97%. The GSE-Composite Index also went down by 1.47 points to close at 973.01 |
